I tutored my classmates all through my academic career and continue to do so as a teacher and tutor. Qualified to teach all levels of biology and mathematics, I have gained this ability through my education and subsequent professional career. I teach algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, and differential equations in addition to biology and other scientific subjects. My approach to tutoring is direct. I use real world examples and have found over the years that all students have their own way of learning something. It is therefore important that my teaching style remains adaptable and I can fit my students' learning needs.I studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota and obtained my Bachelor of Science and PhD from Drexel University. In addition to having tutored my classmates, I have also taught three engineering courses at the undergraduate level. Even in my spare time I enjoy educating others and contributing to their academic and personal success. It is just something that is hard to get away from, but occasionally I need a break and to unwind. I have been known to take time out to relax and go camping and fly fishing. Other hobbies include cycling and cooking.
