Experience
As a teaching assistant at MIT for single and multivariate calculus as well as differential equations, I held office hours to help students with homework or understand concepts from the day's lecture. During the summer of 2013, I have the pleasure of being a teaching assistant for the Electrical Engineering MIT Women's Technology Program where I guided students through their lab exercises and homework. For a few months in 2010 I had the privilege of being a middle school substitute math teacher while the full time teacher was away on maternity leave. I can also help with college application essays and general pre-college prep. I currently work as a mechanical engineer at a private company in Burlington, though I've always had a passion for teaching, and so decided to be a tutor in my free time. I really enjoy the challenge of breaking down basic concepts in different ways to complement a student's unique set of previous knowledge/ dendrite associations. Forging that connection with a person is truly magical.

Hobbies
Singing in the choir is my number one de-stresser from the day. I also enjoy making greeting cards for friends and family and going on long walks. I've recently started to teach myself how to play the flute-- the sound is just absolutely bewitching!
